Pascale Judet

Pascale Judet was born and raised in France in a family of eight children. She moved to the United States in her early twenties to study philosophy at U.C. Berkeley  and turned to art a few years later. She is a self taught artist who now lives on an island in Puget Sound with her husband of 45 years with whom she built a house on a thirty acre piece of land. Their son Gabriel is a film maker and a musician (Max Gabriel) who lives in Brooklyn, New York.

"Art is the backbone of my life. I discovered that I was an artist in my late twenties. I am self taught but I make frequent visits to museums and galleries to learn from other artists. Walking into a room and seeing the art chosen by its occupant always makes a deep impression on me; it gives me an immediate sense of knowing the person who occupies that space. Art makes sense." - P.J.
